Message Exchange Enhancements

Orders, invoices and others

Gateway 3.0 provides additional enhancements to the order and invoice messages available on the PharmX gateway above what had been provided in PharmX gateway 2.0, these enhancements include (but are not limited to):

• Explicitly defined delivery and billing account numbers in order and invoice documents to better support head office structures

• Explicitly defined unit of measure for all order and invoice line items as well as other product specific data points to enable more accurate interpretation of product messaging

• Invoice line types, to account for invoice amounts that relate to non-inventory items (services and fees) as well as agency stock

• Providing information in an invoice line about the product ordered and the product supplied (where a replacement product is supplied)

• All messages to have more robust integrity checking measures such as segment numbers etc.
