Stock Availability
Suppliers can inform pharmacies of their in-stock position by SKU in the last 24 hours (or more frequently).
By having pharmacies perform a stock availability check prior to placing orders, this gives the pharmacies the ability to be aware of what is not available and potentially select alternate products. Stock availability can help minimise the instances of potential out of stock or backordered items that may not be available at the time of ordering, reducing overhead for suppliers.
