Environments

An environment is an isolated, independent instance of the PharmX EDI. The data, configurations, and communications are isolated from the other environments.

Production

The production environment is the live environment and should only be used for real transactions.

Test

The test environment is a pre-production environment that is a functional replica of the production environment for suppliers to test integrations before deploying them to the production environment.

The test portal website can be used to create supplier accounts for testing and also as a verification tool to determine successful delivery and retrieval of documents.

Please contact us at techsupport@pharmx.com.au if any new accounts are added as the accounts will need to be “acknowledged” before they can be used.

Suppliers within the test environment are typically configured with the Basic Test Supplier functionality, which will mock behaviour such as invoices. Some suppliers may be connected to their own test environment and may require PharmX tech support to liaise with these suppliers to test end-to-end workflows, if necessary.
