Upgrading from Gateway 2 to Gateway 3

For a POS vendor upgrading from Gateway 2 to Gateway 3, the Gateway 3 interface includes enhancements to standard gateway document types such as order and invoice. The new document formats will extend the information from standard document types, providing a more accurate and complete representation of real-world purchasing activities, which in turn enhances the data integrity and consistency for POS developers.

PharmX has implemented new support services such as (but not limited to):

• Supplier account management within POS for seamless account creation.

• Stock availability queries from POS systems

• Order compliance capabilities (where enabled by the supplier)

  • Minimum order value or freight free threshold.

  • Minimum order quantity (order multiples)

• Order acknowledgements for every order for a pharmacy account (including 3rd party retrieval/external orders), replacing the outdated out-of-stock message.
